Last week, Russia awarded the winners of the national contest. Various stakeholders and representatives of HeidelbergCement Russia were present to celebrate the winning project teams.

The following 4 teams received the QLA trophies:

Research Stream

1st prize winner: Biological activity and diversity of microbial communities of the Pechurki quarry

2nd prize winner: Molecular ecology and adaptation of algae in formation of the target ecosystems of the Gurovo quarry


Community Stream

1st prize winner: Quarry and society: joint efforts to maintain biodiversity at the Pechurki quarry

2nd prize winner: ECOSH (Ecological community of scholars)
