During a ceremony at the Calusco d'Adda Cement Plant, the Italian national winners received their QLA awards. The Italcementi Environmental and Energy Manager Angelo Monti as well as the Quarry Manager and Plant Director joined the celebration.

The jury members were so impressed by the quality of all projects that they decided to introduce a third award with 1.000€ prize money.
